Our affordable conference rooms are ideal for any type of meeting, from corporate gatherings to luncheons. More than 6,200 square feet of space and five rooms can accommodate whatever format you have in mind: Host a large meeting in our grand room or a workshop or training session with room breakouts. Four of our multipurpose rooms have wall partitions that can be moved to allow expansion for larger or custom room setups. Our experienced on-site staff is available to help with your event venue needs.

The Thrasher-Horne Center is situated on the beautiful campus of the St. Johns River State College in Orange Park. Conveniently located between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, the Center offers a serene setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Our special event rooms are designed to suit multiple uses, each space offering independently controlled lights, and thermostats. From wireless network access to a modern clean design, the Center features all of the amenities you need to make your event a success.

Our room rental fees provide added value with all tables and chairs included along with their customized setup, then furniture breakdown after your event. Included with our room rental rates is wireless internet access and spacious restroom facilities.

A wide range of meeting room equipment is also available for rent, including podiums with and without attached microphones, a/v carts, projectors and screens, a stage platform riser, linens, pianos and much more.

We maintain a listing of local restaurants and caterers who can provide light snacks to large luncheons and everything in between. If you’d like to use your own caterer, all that’s needed is a copy of their business license and the appropriate insurance. Please contact us with questions regarding serving alcohol at your event. The Center houses a large caterer's warming kitchen, available for rental the day of your event.
